June was an excruciatingly hard month for me. It was the month my house flooded, and it was the month in which I had to say goodbye to my best friend. I am still grieving. I am still working through Covid. I’m still trying to manage my personal life (and, let’s be real, am probably failing at that last part).
I wish for calm in July, but I know that with construction happening and working and still dealing with covid and the myriad of other things coming my way. This month, I’m trying to knock some fantasy off of my shelves, but I’m not so sure that I’ll be in the mode for them with everything going on. I’ve never been great at keeping up with any TBR pile that I’ve ever made, bit I want to try again in July. So, without further adieu, here we go. Challenge Accepted.

The Hero of Ages
Brandon Sanderson
With this one, I’d like to finish the first trilogy of the Mistborn series this year… and then maybe work my way through the rest of the Cosmere. Not sure if I’m actually going to get to this monster of a book this month, but I’m hoping!

Heir of Fire
Sarah J. Maas
I’m excited to do a re-read of this book. I’ve been trying to knock this series off my TBR for a while now and hopefully 2020 is the year I finally finish this series!

The Great Hunt
Robert Jordan
Finished the first book last month, may as well start book two. Wasn’t super impressed with the story, but surprisingly okay with the writing style.

The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo
Taylor Jenkins Reid
Super interested in reading this one. Don’t want to know much about it before going into it. Fingers crossed it lives up to the hype!
