this month was wild y’all.
It didn’t feel like I had much time to read, but I did manage to do a little damage to my TBR this month. I finished quite a few movies. If you’re interested in them and my thoughts on them, I update my Letterboxed profile very regularly.
I finished Rin Chupeco’s The Bone Witch, and enjoyed it a whole bunch. I think it would have been more impactful to me if I had read it all at once, but I spaced this one throughout July and it seemed that it took forever to finish. I may continue this series, I may not.
I then picked up Stephen King’s It to buddy read with a few friends. This is my first King, and I don’t know what I had expected from this man but… wow. The writing style is so easy to read and follow but the material is harsh. Unfortunately, I couldn’t get through this one. Maybe one day, but that day will not be in August 2020.
