Spring 2021 Anticipated Releases

Winter seems to have come and gone quite quickly this year. I’m not mad about it. This winter, we have done a lot of cleaning and organizing at home, and the space is more welcoming. I feel more settled. I have high hopes for Spring. Spring will be good for us. The weather will change and the sun will come out and it will be good. And, if it isn’t? Well, we’ve got a few beautiful books to keep us company anyway.

Heartbreak Bay, Rachel Caine
BookShop

They’re hunting a killer so silent, so invisible, that his unspeakable crimes are the only proof he exists

I am a huge sucker for lighthouses.

I also have heavy nostalgia wrapped up in Rachel Caine’s Morganville series. Starting her Stillhouse Lake series last year left me wanting more. I’ve got quite a few books to read to catch up to this installment, but I plan to savor all of Caine’s works. She is dearly missed.

Lost in the Never Woods,
Aiden Thomas
Bookshop

When children go missing, people want answers.

Can we all just take a moment to appreciate this cover? Those colors! That font! The whimsy!

Okay, now that that’s out of the way, I just can’t wait to get my hands on this one. Cemetery Boys was on my Fall 2020 Anticipated Releases and it is so fitting that this one end up on my 2021 anticipated releases list. And a coastal town setting? Sign me up.

Rule of Wolves, Leigh Bardugo
BookShop

The wolves are circling and a young king will face his greatest challenge in the explosive finale of the instant #1 New York Times-bestselling King of Scars Duology.

Another astonishing cover for Leigh Bardugo! This one has been on my watchlist for the longest time and it’s finally release month! I can’t wait to read more of Bardugo’s beautiful writing.

People We Meet on Vacation,
Emily Henry
BookShop

With one week to win back the best friend she might just be in love with, a travel writer plans the trip of a lifetime in this sparkling new novel from the New York Times bestselling author of Beach Read.

I loved reading Beach Read early last year and I pledged to read more of Emily Henry’s writing so what better way to do that than with her newest novel? I’m not a super huge fan of this color, but maybe it looks better in person. Cover aside, I will be reading this book.

Malibu Rising, Taylor Jenkins Reid
BookShop

From the New York Times bestselling author of Daisy Jones & The Six . . . Four famous siblings throw an epic party to celebrate the end of the summer. But over the course of twenty-four hours, their lives will change forever.

I also had the pleasure of enjoying The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo in July of last year and I absolutely could not put it down. I can’t wait to get back into TJR’s addictive writing style and carefully crafted storylines!

These are just a few of my most anticipated releases of Spring, 2021! I’m so excited to get to these! As always, I’m open to buddy reading anything, so if you’re interested please drop me a comment or DM me on Twitter. 😊 Which books made your list this season? Feel free to drop your links down below! Happy reading. xx
