August is usually a particularly difficult month for me (I’m definitely more of a Fall/Winter gal) and I’m hoping to get through at least one large book this month. I think, in July, I wanted to read too many large books and kind of burnt myself out. This month, I’m going smaller. And, hopefully the heat – which has been great for my plants but not so great for me – will chill the heck out just a little bit.
I would like to catch up as much as possible on Saga and Paper Girls – which are series’ that I started a while ago and loved, but never kept up with. Maybe reading a few graphic novels will kick my reading butt into gear and aliens? I think I need aliens right now. I would also like to finish my buddy reads for this month: Rin Chupeco’s The Bone Witch (with @Andi and @Layali) and Meg Cabot’s Avalon High with @Amberinoface.
